Dissertation Council or Doctoral and Candidate Dissertation Defense Council - a body intended for preliminary evaluation of scientific works, evaluation of the applicant and submission of his/her candidacy for awarding a degree.

In order to increase the independence and objectivity of the state scientific attestation of scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers, we have a united dissertation council based on three scientific organizations: "VNIINM, JSC" , FGUP Radon and IFCE RAS.

An applicant for a degree is given the opportunity to receive qualified assistance from the dissertation council on matters related to the defense of the dissertation.

Dissertation Council D 99.1.056.03 accepts for consideration and defense dissertations for the degree of candidate of sciences and for the degree of doctor of sciences in the specialty: 2.6.8 (05.17.02) –"Technology of rare, diffuse and radioactive elements (technical sciences, chemical sciences)".
